Mountain Creek Resort Ski Patrol is responsible for first aid and assistance to visitors and employees of Mountain Creek Resort. The organization promotes safe recreation practices in a mountain environment.
About the Mountain Creek Ski Patrol (MCSP)

All Mountain Creek ski patrollers are members of the National Ski Patrol and certified as Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) technicians
- MCSP members are trained in special rescue techniques including toboggan handling, chairlifts evacuation and technical rope rescues
- Skilled alpine, snowboard and telemark patrollers are all able to perform duties of a ski patroller. All types of equipment are represented on the MCSP
Becoming a Mountain Creek Ski Patroller
Candidate program:
OEC course – the National Ski Patrol's equivalent to an emergency medical technician course – is offered to current candidates every spring. OEC classes are taught from early May through July and will lead to a certification of outdoor emergency technician, one of the two prerequisites of becoming a patroller
Alpine Patroller Program:
Learn to transport a person in a toboggan down Mountain Creek's steepest terrain. Training is conducted December through March and can be completed in as little as one year, but in some cases may take two or more years.
